Agony in the Garden
Jesus took Peter and the two sons of Zebedee, John and James, to the
Garden of Gethsemane. Jesus knew that he was going to die but the others didn’t
so He prayed to God asking not to make this happen to Him. Jesus wanted the
others to pray with him but they fell asleep. Jesus felt mental agony
because he knew what was going to
die.

The Crowning of Thorns
Before Jesus was sent to be crucified, soldiers embedded a crown of thorns on his head
and put a purple cloak on his shoulders. Soldiers mockingly said, "Hail, King of
the Jews!” While they did that the soldiers also hit Jesus multiple times.
Later, Jesus was sent out wearing the cloak and the crown.

first, Jesus was forced to carry the tremendously heavy cross all the way up to
the place called The Skull (Golgotha) where he’d be crucified. As he was
carrying the cross, he fell multiple times, so Simon was pulled out of the crowd
to help Jesus carry the cross.
