The Rosary represents Mary's crown of roses and each mystery tells of Jesus' life through Mary's eyes. By praying the Rosary we are asking Mary to pray with and for us. The Rosary can also bring us peace and keep us together. As we praying the Rosary, we are keeping ourselves safe because the Rosary keeps evil away as well.
Before we even had the Rosary we have today, the original Rosary had many other beads. Over the centuries multiple people have changed the Rosary. Later in time, Pope John Paul II changed the Rosary by adding a new set of mysteries called the "Luminous Mysteries". Today as we pray the Rosary we think of Mary and Jesus.
